WHO WE ARE
Home is a place where you come just as you are. A place where you can feel safe and a sense of true belonging and that is what we hope people feel at THEHEART. We hope it can be a place you call “Home”.
Our core values are connection, community, honesty, welcoming, and choice. We believe that there is a place for you at THEHEART exactly as you are. You don’t have to clean up your mess, you don’t have to speak “right”, look “right”, or even believe what we believe to belong to the community God has created right here at THEHEART.

WHERE WE COME FROM
Founded in 2016, THEHEART is rooted in the community of San Marcos, TX. We are made up of a group of people that want to spread love, not custom-build our own church.
We started as a group of people meeting in a home talking about the things of God and reading through Bible stories. Our greatest asset that we had was that we knew what it meant to connect with each other in a real way. We wanted to be able to do that for everyone in our city. We want people to be able to connect with God through connecting with us!

WHERE WE’RE HEADED
“The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even GREATER THINGS, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I’ll do it. That’s how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. Whatever you request in this way, I’ll do.” John 14:12-14
These aren't some inspiring words from a book of quotes, these are the words of Jesus, on earth, in real life. You see, we believe that Jesus wasn't just talking to his disciples. Jesus said that any person who trusts him will be able to do greater things, and because we trust Him, we want to do those greater things that He is talking about!

Connection is one of our core values here at THEHEART. We want you to be connected to community, but most importantly, we want to connect you to the heart of God.
Through attending CONNECT Groups, choosing to serve, or meeting new people at our HEART events and Sunday experiences - you will connect more with the community around you and become more of the person God has designed you to be.
